Sunday Stamps: Easter and Spring

Good day, and welcome to my contribution to Sunday Stamps.  It is a sunny but chilly Spring day in the American Midwest.

The US Postal Service has just released these stamps of Mountain wildflowers (March 14, 2022). The images below are from their web page.  I like the designs, almost like woodcuts:

And one stamp features the pasque flower:

An early bloomer in the mountains, about the time of Easter or Passover, therefore its name.  Our hostess has also featured a stamp with this flower!  Other flowers in the USA set are a wood lily, Alpine buttercup, and Woods' rose.

Visit SeeitonaPostcard for more participants.

I have a page on Facebook: keep up with my infrequent quilt and stamp posts at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Viridian61/347674418583948?ref=hl

Beautiful set. The pasque flower design is my favourite, its shapes and leaves are perfect.
