Sunday Stamps: the letter "C"

Good day, and welcome to my blog!  It is warming up in the American Midwest.

It's Sunday morning, and time for Sunday Stamps.

We are on to the letter C.  Checking out the trusty US Postal Service website, I found this stamp commemorating Colorado statehood:

showing some of the mountains Colorado is known for.  But keep in mind eastern Colorado is vast flat plains.

In searching through stamps shared before on this blog, I found a stamp from the Cayman Islands:

Next week: the letter "D".

I have a page on Facebook: keep up with my infrequent quilt and stamp posts at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Viridian61/347674418583948?ref=hl

Very nice stamps for C. I don't think I've seen one from Cayman before

Such a peaceful and serene scene on the Cayman stamp.

I think most people think of Colorado's mountains first. I almost used my one and only Cayman Islands stamp today, with a Cayman parrot. I like yours a lot.

Colorado looks pretty, but it's still winter, so the Cayman Islands are more enticing at the moment!
