Sunday Stamps: the letter "B"

Good day, and welcome to my blog.  The snow is not melting in the American Midwest, as it's been pretty cold.  It is a cloudy but bright day, and it's time for Sunday Stamps.

We are up to the letter "B".  I checked out the US Postal Service website, and wouldn't you know, they have a new issue:  Bruce Lee stamps:

This image is from the USPS website.  More information is HERE.

These stamps will be available on Feb. 18, 2026.

Another stamp that fits for today is one of Barbara Bush:

Although I am not his fan, I like the design of the Bruce Lee stamp.

I like the design of the Bruce Lee stamp kicking at the lettering! I wonder what the special occasion was for honouring him? Barbara Bush is quite a contrast!

The Bruce Lee stamp does seem a bit random but I like it and the yellow background. Nice touch from the designer, Lee wore a yellow jumpsuit in his last film. Famously Uma Thurman wore one in Kill Bill as a homage to Lee, the only reason I know that fun fact.

Interesting Bruce Lee stamp, and a good one for the letter. Barbara Bush may be better due to the double B!
