Sunday Stamps: Beaches and coasts

A warm sunny day in the American Midwest - perhaps Spring is finally here!

It's time for Sunday Stamps, and the theme is beaches or coasts.  This is a stamp I have shared before (in 2020), a USA stamp celebrating Maine statehood:

Maine is part of New England, so why 1820 for statehood?  Well, originally it was part of Massachusetts, then became a separate state.  This stamp shows a part of the coastline of Acadia National Park.

Visit SeeitonaPostcard for more participants.

I have a page on Facebook: keep up with my infrequent quilt and stamp posts at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Viridian61/347674418583948?ref=hl

I do like a rugged coastline. And I didn't realize it was part of Mass.
