Sunday Stamps: Small animals

 Hello, I am joining in with SeeitonaPostcard for Sunday Stamps today.  The theme is small animals:

This is the Brush rabbit (its scientific name is over its back) from the US Postal Service.  It lives on the US west coast from Baja California to Oregon.  No word on the USPS page on whether it is endangered.  This is a 2021 stamp to cover extra postage if a letter is overweight.

Sunday Stamps: Royalty

 Good day and welcome to my blog.  It's heating up here in the American Midwest.

It's time for Sunday Stamps, and the theme this week is Royalty.

I am going to go with the Queen whose image or likeness has appeared on an awful lot of stamps:

In many different colors and denominations.  This stamp is from my Postcrossing days, so it must be the International postcard rate at that time.

Sunday Stamps: Postcrossing

 Good day, and welcome to my stamp and postcard blog.  I am participating in Sunday stamps sponsored by SeeitonaPostcard.  The theme this week is the Letter P.

Our hostess shared a Postcrossing stamp, and I was able to find one too!  From the Netherlands:

Postcrossing is a way to send postcards to strangers all around the world, and get postcards from strangers back.  I was active for a few years and received about 1000 postcards, from many countries.  I am not active anymore - the postage costs started adding up.  I had joined to share with my children cards from around the world and teach them geography.  Well they grew up and were not as interested anymore.  I still have my albums filled with cards.

Sunday Stamps: Labor

I took a different view of this.

Dray horses on a farm, or at least at a farm show, in this stamp from Great Britain.  A fine looking pair of horses.
