Sunday Stamps: Celebrations

Good day and welcome to my blog.  It's a sunny but frosty morning in the American Midwest, and time for Sunday Stamps.

The theme today is Celebrations.  Each year the US Postal Service issues stamps for Christmas (religious and secular), Hanukah, Kwanzaa, and Diwali.  Following the lead of our hostess, here is the Diwali stamp for this year:

Issued Oct. 21, and this image is from the USPS website.

First class US postage is now 82 cents - yikes!

I have already shared the Christmas stamps for this year - a Madonna in red robes, and Christmas cookies.

I have a page on Facebook: keep up with my infrequent quilt and stamp posts at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Viridian61/347674418583948?ref=hl
