Sunday Stamps: Aerial views

Good day, and welcome to my blog.  It is a cool (45 deg F!) and sunny morning in the American Midwest, and time for Sunday Stamps.

The theme today is aerial views.  Inspired by Joy's contributions from France, I found this stamp, shared on my blog previously:

A joint issue with China, a view of Paris.  I received this stamp via a Postcrossing postcard in 2014.

Have a good week, friends!

Sunday Stamps: Food

Good day, and welcome to my blog.  It is a beautiful September day in the American Midwest, not a cloud in the sky.

It's time for Sunday Stamps, and the theme this week is food.  I have a stamp of grapes, not exactly grapes for eating.

According to the US Postal service, these are Pinot grapes, more likely to be made into wine.

This is a stamp to make up postage - therefore the 5 cents printed on it.  You would never see it alone on an envelope, as in the second image.  Even postcard postage is much more than that!

Have a good week, everybody.

I have a page on Facebook: keep up with my infrequent quilt and stamp posts at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Viridian61/347674418583948?ref=hl
