Thursday Jan. 2 1913. to Dear Elizabeth, With lots of love for a very happy birthday. With love from her baby sister Louise.
This is written in a lady's handwriting, so I think it's from one grown up sister to another.
We have a dusting of snow on the ground here (!) and my daffodils are ruined. So I really need a colorful Springy postcard.
I'm joining in Postcard Friendship Friday hosted by Beth at The Best Hearts are Crunchy. Please check out the other participants.

XOXO LOLA:)
Ohhh, that is pretty. I love the flowers, they really knew how to stage pretty pictures back then!
It IS a pretty card! The flowers are just beautiful. I'm sorry your daffodils were ruined by this long winter!
Happy PFF! we haven't had any snow in March but it was only 27° this morning.
How perfectly lovely--those flowers almost look like they were embroidered on there...wow!
PS Thank you so much for your comment today--I love that verse.
This is a lovely spring-time card, even if you are having more snow! Such a shame about your daffodils.
Nothing like spring flowers for cheering one up. Pity about your daffodils some of ours are out but most are still in yellow bud, just as well, snow is forecast for the high ground.
What is it about a pretty little cottage that tugs at the heartstrings? Beautiful card! Hope your Spring returns soon.
So sorry to hear about your daffodils! Here's a link to a site that shows pictures of daffodils all over the world:

I love the spring flowers bordering the picture! Thanks for stopping by. PFF
