Sunday Stamps: the letter "K"

Good day, and welcome to my blog.

It is a cool morning in the American Midwest, but entirely appropriate for mid-April.  Trees are blooming, and I saw some lilacs beginning to flower.

It's Sunday, and time for Sunday stamps.  We are up to the letter K.  Here are two stamps from Kenya:

The stamps showcase the minerals Amethyst and Tourmaline, and the cut gems made from these minerals.  I don't have these in hand.  I must have downloaded these images some time ago.

I will take the next 3 weeks off, as I am on a big trip to Italy and Switzerland.  I am NOT bringing my laptop computer!  See you later in May.

Visit SeeitonaPostcard for more participants.

I have a page on Facebook: keep up with my infrequent quilt and stamp posts at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Viridian61/347674418583948?ref=hl

Lovely colours. And I don't see Kenyan stamps so often.

Have a safe and happy trip!

These colours are so bright!
I am as jealous of your lilacs as I am of your trip ;)
Have a wonderful time.

I like seeing minerals before and after they are cut. Enjoy your big trip, on top of everything I imagine Switzerland to be a geologist's delight.
