Good day, and welcome to my blog. It is a cool cloudy day in the American Midwest, with the possibility of snow late tonight.
It's time for Sunday Stamps, and we are up to the letter "O".
I have an older owl stamp from Great Britain:
No cancellation that I can see. It is removed from paper so it must be from the short period I was accumulating stamps (the influence of a long-ago boyfriend).
Visit SeeitonaPostcard for more participants.
I have a page on Facebook: keep up with my infrequent quilt and stamp posts at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Viridian61/347674418583948?ref=hl

A beautiful stamp!
He is shown off beautifully here.
I didn't know barn owls were at risk. I read more, and several kinds are. Sad.
That is my favourite stamp of the nature conservation issue. 1986 if you were wondering where the years went:) I am continually surprised by the passing of time.
How beautiful!
(And that boyfriend was a good influence!).
