Good day, and welcome to my stamps blog.
The theme today for Sunday Stamps is stories or folk tales. I have a stamp I shared a long time ago, from Russia:
At the time, in 2012, I did not know anything about this stamp. Now I know this is part of a set of stamps issued by Russia, and shows Ailyp and Golden Hair. She is not Rapunzel, and the story is quite different!

I have a page on Facebook: keep up with my infrequent quilt and stamp posts at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Viridian61/347674418583948?ref=hl

What a beautiful stamp. I'll have to go and read on this story....
The story is not particularly happy. But it is good that these traditional tales carry on.
So interesting that there is a different fairytale with a very long-haired woman. Traditional fairytalescan be quite dark, can't they.
That's a lovely stamp. I'm glad you let us know it's not Rapunzel! The set is beautiful. I'll be looking them them!
