It's a lazy hot day, and a Saturday too. Time for Sunday Stamps.
Today's theme is anything you wish.
I am not a fisher, nor am I really into fish, but I do have this set of stamps that I scanned for this meme. Some of these fish are freshwater, other marine fish. These stamps are from some time ago, when 22 cents was first class postage.

Theme next week: It's still vacation time for many of us, so let's keep it open and relaxed - anything you wish. Future suggetions welcome!

We just got home from a fishing trip from the Detroit River, my husband and son didn't got any but we enjoyed looking at your stamps. :)
My Sunday Stamp
Those stamps were issued in 1986. It would take exactly two of those to mail a letter today.
I recognised the catfish immediately. It's not a fisherman's tale if I say I caught one in a Michigan lake.
A lovely set of stamps and fits us perfectly!
They all look ready for something to eat, if they are not eaten first. Nice set.
Like you, I'm not really fascinated by fish but these are lovely stamps. I've only ever been fishing once in my life when a Canadian uncle came to visit. I was only about 7 at the time but I did catch something. It was apparently only fit for the cat, so the cat fed well that night.
I tend to prefer my fish battered, with chips and mushy peas, but these stamps are beautiful. My post is up, but not fish related. Happy Sunday Stamps.
never tried fishing yet but would love to experience that activity, the stamps looks beautiful
Catch-and-release is what some do.
Reading a bit about each species on those stamps would be nice - I'll do that if I ever get to create maximum cards with each of those stamps. To me, that's the best way to enhance, complement and enrich the message of a stamp.:)
Beautiful stamp with great color. Thanks for another great Sunday Stamps!
