Good day, and welcome to my blog. It is a cloudy day in the American Midwest, and it is snowing lightly. It's just enough to cover the grass, nothing major.
This week's theme is places of worship. Having no stamps in hand, I searched on the internet and found a set of stamps for sale:
This is a set of stamps issued for Berlin, showing the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church in Berlin. Partially destroyed during an air raid in 1943, it was rebuilt between 1959 and 1963, according to the Wikipedia page. Its nickname is the "hollow tooth".

Nice to see two different views of the church. And what an interesting story of its rebuilding.
Its an amazing achievement how much was rebuilt after the war.
