Sunday Stamps: Movement

Good day, and welcome to my blog.  It is a cool cloudy day in the American Midwest, and time for Sunday Stamps.

The theme this week is movement, and there are a number of ways to interpret this.  How to show this in a small space?

The US Postal Service came to my rescue, with a set of stamps showing endless movement, endlessly the same:

And a scan of just one:

Some famous locations, such as Yosemite and Yellowstone, but also some lesser known waterfalls.  See the USPS webpage for the details on these.  All beautiful, in my opinion.

Visit SeeitonaPostcard for more entries.

I have a page on Facebook: keep up with my infrequent quilt and stamp posts at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Viridian61/347674418583948?ref=hl

Another sort of movement, one I didn't think of! Nice! I always hate to use those stamps, breaking them up off the background. I didn't so much mind using The Mighty Mississippi, since I didn't think they were terribly attractive.
