Sepia Saturday # 174

It's Dancing on the Moon time at Sepia Saturday.

And if you are on the Moon, you might leave some boot prints.

From NASA:

Apollo 11 bootprint

One of the first steps taken on the Moon, this is an image of Buzz Aldrin's bootprint from the Apollo 11 mission. Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin walked on the Moon on July 20, 1969. Photo Credit: NASA.

My husband would love to travel in space. Not me. I am happy on the ground!

I think this is the first time I've seen that footprint on the moon so I'm glad it was featured.

I don't recall ever seeing that picture either, so I echo Kristin's comment.

I remember watching it happen live on television. I was about 11. I was so amazed. We all were.
