Postcard Friendship Friday: The Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain, Niagara Falls. Divided back.
As we received an inch of ice over two storms, this seems appropriate!  No school for the children for 4 days!

This photo is of people on the ice below Niagara Falls.  I don't care how thick the ice is, don't they realize there is a rushing river underneath and the ice could crack at any second?  Somehow I think this is not allowed anymore.

Thank you Beth for hosting Postcard Friendship Friday!

Remember: My new meme Sunday Stamps opens again late Saturday night. See the post below for Our Chinese New Year stamps we shared last week.

I have seen many postcards on this. It's amazing how the falls froze like that. Great card!

Beautiful!! We've had ice since Tuesday and today we got snow!

This is much more impressive than the frozen Minnehaha Falls in Minneapolis.

Wow, what a sight that must have been. Great card.
Thanks for the message. I've taken note of your Sunday Stamps theme, and am ready for blast off with a rocket or two.

Unbelievable that the falls freeze that way - and you are right, the people should not be where they are. Hope that has been banned. Gorgeous card.

What a great picture. Very impressive. I had never seen it before. It must have been quite an experience to be able to walk there.

I cant imagine it being cold enough for that much water to freeze to such a depth. Amazing!

There is a definite theme to the cards from the other side of the Atlantic this week!

That ice mountain must have been an incredible sight, but like you, I'd keep my distance.
