Sunday Stamps: The Sky

Good Day, and welcome to my blog.  It's a cool cloudy day with some rain, in the American Midwest.  I hope no one was affected by hurricane Helene.  We got some high winds and heavy rain, some tree branches down.  But nothing like the Southeast USA.

It's time for Sunday Stamps, and the theme today is the sky.  Skies are not often featured on stamps.  You must look for a beautiful sky as part of a landscape, for example:

As in this painting of the Columbia River Gorge.  This 2016 stamp is a very high value stamp, US $22.95, so for big packages.  (I have shared this stamp before.)  I don't think the USPS issues such high value stamps anymore.  But look at that sky!

Have a good week, everybody.

We don't have such high values in Spain. And even the 6-7€ stamps are hard to be seen in use, if not by philatelists.

It is a gorgeous sky indeed!

That's a gorgeous stamp! The Columbia River Gorge looks breathtaking with that vibrant sunset sky.

Mine is an African night sky.

That sky and the reflection are indeed gorgeous. We don't have such high value stamps - your package would end up with meter postage.
