Good day, and welcome to my blog. It is a cool and cloudy day in the American Midwest, and time for Sunday Stamps.
The theme today is dragons or saints (thinking of St. George).
I have a stamp from 2012 that I have shared before, but it's really beautiful:
From the US Postal Service:"Dragons aren't always scary monsters. Consider the colorful creature depicted by the U.S. Postal Service® in its 2012 Year of the Dragon (Forever®) stamp, fifth in the Celebrating Lunar New Year series! The Year of the Dragon begins on January 23, 2012, and ends on February 9, 2013.
Combining original artwork by Kam Mak with two elements from the previous series of Lunar New Year stamps — Clarence Lee's intricate paper-cut design of a dragon and the Chinese character for "Dragon," drawn in grass-style calligraphy by Lau Bun — art director Ethel Kessler has created a culturally rich stamp design that celebrates the diversity of the American experience."

I love the Kam Mak series, such beautiful stamp designs.
That is a beautiful dragon. I don't know why it didn't occur to me to look for Year of the Dragon stamps. My first date with my late husband was Chinese New Year parade in San Francisco, which definitely had dragons!
I agree with you that this is really beautiful. All the series is.
The paper cut design of a dragon is so beautiful.
I am always in awe of paper cut designers, great dragon.
