Sunday Stamps # 200

Welcome this week to my last posting of Sunday Stamps.

Sunday Stamps officially started on January 8, 2011. I posted a stamp from France, a 5 franc stamp showing a stained glass window:

This is the stamp that really made me look carefully at these little works of art on paper.  It arrived at my apartment on a package for my roommate C. - a package from her family in France.

I had six participants that week in January.  You may know three of them: postcardy, Postal Picture, and Sheila at A Postcard a Day.

Our theme this week is art on stamps, and I am leaving as I started, with the stamp above.

Sunday Stamps is Not Ending!  Violet Sky has graciously offered to continue.  It will be hosted at See it on a Postcard blog.  The theme for Dec 21 is Christmas/Hannukah stamps.  Thank you Violet Sky for continuing this meme.

I have Christmas art this week.

I have had fun participating in Sunday Stamps. I am surprised I have participated so long, since I only use postcards with stamp pictures and maximum cards for my stamp posts. I probably won't participate much, if at all, after Christmas.

This stained glass window shows up well on the stamp.
Postcardy - we will miss you!

I have missed this stamp, as I haven't participate since the beginning. It is not strange that it caught your attention!

I'm thankful for Sunday Stamps. It has brig me good moments. I hope I will continue (not every week, but often!). And I hope I will find you there!

Thanks for hosting, happy holidays and enjoy your new found free time.
I'm a latecomer to Sunday stamps, but have enjoyed participating, even if I didn't manage to post every week.

I didn't realise I was a pioneer! :)

I did consider stained glass but found these others first. It's a beautiful stamp.

I hope you enjoy your break! You've put in a lot of work.

Thank you very much, Viridian!! It is/was a pleasure to join (even though I did at irregular base) and a joy to see how you connected all amazing contributions via this website!
Wishing you all the best, and I am happy to know that Sunday Stamps will continue (thank you, Violet Sky!).
