Theme for this week: Maps on stamps, a theme suggested by Helen. I finally have one to share!!
And here it is:
This arrived recently on a postcard from a Postcrosser in Belarus. Featured are the magnificent Emperor penguins, with a map of Antarctica in the background. Maps on stamps are more common than I thought - I tend to overlook them somehow.
It's a holiday weekend here in the US but I hope you can join us for Sunday Stamps. I will be away from my computer on a short family holiday so I will be late in commenting.
Theme next week; anything you wish.

This week will be the last for me until towards the end of June as I am away from home and my stamps. However I hope to drop in and see what you are all doing each week.
The Belarus stamp is splendid, the colours just right.
Nice stamp. The penguins look very dignified.
Great stamp, Viridian. I hope everyone enjoys the theme.
I think I've been overlooking maps on stamps too, especially globe-type ones.
I've tried to leave my link twice but it doesn't seem to be showing up even after refreshing. I don't want to try any more in case they turn up eventually. Please delete as necessary. :)
A nice composition with the sun rising and the reflection of the penguins. Looks like a nice time of year to be there.
Excellent theme this week - gives me chance to share one of my favourite stamps.
Penguins on stamp re cute! They remind me of Mumble and his gang in Happy Feet.
