Our theme today is Sport, sporting events, stadiums, etc. I have an almost-maximum card to share with you today. First the front:
A round postcard, that really captures the texture of a basketball. The European Men's Championship was being held in Lithuania (those are all cities in Lithuania).
And the stamp on the back:
A really great stamp on the back!!! The postmark appears to be from Kaunas.
Have fun with this theme, and interpret it broadly.
Theme next week: Anything you wish.

That's an interesting postcard and stamp. Those are the flag colors on the basketball on the card.
a great card with a matching stamp! and i dont really follow basketball, but this championship will always be memorable for Macedonia coz of the fantastic result our guys have achieved, placing in the semis, and being in the same line with great teams as Spain, France and Russia. The irony is that we beat the host of Lithuania and ensured a semi-finals spot :) im really really proud of our team :)
That's an awesome card and stamp. I'm curious about the texture of the ball as it did remind of the Austrian stamp issued in 2008, if I am not mistaken, in which the stamp was made of same material as the UEFA championship ball.
I have two entries this week. Please visit if you have the time.

The card looks as though it's actually textured! A great combination with the stamp.
A nice spherical combination. The card design is very effective, colours and texture.
I'm sure I have a stamp somewhere with that ball on it - shame I can't find it!
Greta stamp, and a great theme this week. I have just poatsed mine. Happy Sunday Stamps.
I was wondering about the colours. That is a pretty cool card.
My first time participating.
Cool! I'll contact somebody in Lithuania to create some non-traditional maxicards with these elements! :)
Thanks everyone for the comments. Yes< I thought the ball's colors were the flag colors but I wasn't sure. The card really is flat - not textured!
Anything you wish next week - let's be creative.
