Sunday Stamps: Birds

Good day, and welcome to my blog.  It's a cool morning in the American Midwest, and time for Sunday Stamps.

I have been traveling (2 trips in the last 2 weeks) and unable to participate but I am back again.

The theme this week is birds, and there always seems to be bird stamps around.   I have some newer US Postal Service stamps to share:

This set of stamps pictures the bald eagle from chick to adult.  This image is from the USPS.  The set was issued May 14, 2026.

Visit SeeitonaPostcard for more participants.

I have a page on Facebook: keep up with my infrequent quilt and stamp posts at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Viridian61/347674418583948?ref=hl

The bald eagle always looks very severe to me!

Nice that they showed the progression in this stamp set

I like the adult and chicks combination, very nice sheet. I never see a picture a bald eagle without thinking of the very grumpy Sam the Eagle from the Muppets.

Welcome back! Eagles always look so angry, to me. But the two on the bottom are adorable.

Those are nice. I wouldn't want to break them up to send out!
