Good day, and welcome to my blog. It is a cold sunny day in the American Midwest, and time for Sunday Stamps.
Our theme today is foreign languages. I am sharing stamps from Russia, with Cyrillic letters, and the Russian language, which I cannot read.
(I have shared these stamps before). A beautiful lace stamp, but what do the words say?
Also note: the stamps are Russian, but the image in the right corner is of the Soviet Union! CCCP! This Postcrosser used an older postcard.
Have a good week!

I have a page on Facebook: keep up with my infrequent quilt and stamp posts at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Viridian61/347674418583948?ref=hl

Great pattern on the stamp
This is a wonderful design, indeed!
The Russian postage stamp says "Vyatka lace". Vyatka lace is one of the Russian folk crafts developed in the Kirov region, and is its hallmark. Vyatka lace is woven on whooping cough (bobbins).
I love that lace series.
