Good day and welcome to my contribution to Sunday Stamps.
Our theme is black, perhaps because it's the 21st anniversary of the attack on Sept. 11 2001 in the USA. However the Queen of Great Britain, Elizabeth II has also died, lending a solemnity to this week end. Here in the USA flags are at half staff in her honor, for a few days at least.
My stamp for today is below:
A Tiffany stained glass lamp on a black background. This stamp has the value of one cent, to make up postage. It's been in use for a long time, since 2008.Visit SeeitonaPostcard for more participants.
I have a page on Facebook: keep up with my infrequent quilt and stamp posts at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Viridian61/347674418583948?ref=hl

yes, my original thought was of 9/11, but without it being about 9/11. just a mourning colour that is everywhere.
I've always liked this Tiffany stamp.
I agree this little stamp is very nice.
Very pretty, nice that it has been in use for a good period of time.
