Sunday Stamps II 126

It's a beautiful day in the American Midwest, and it's Mother's day too.  Let's hope the children behave today.

The theme this week at Sunday Stamps is Commemorative stamps, and I have one that the US Postal service will be issuing later this year:

This is in honor of Henry David Thoreau.  His best known book is Walden.  More on his life can be found at the Thoreau Society webpage.  More can be found on his Wikipedia page.

That's what I call forward looking.How do you know in advance what stamps are to be issued in the USA?

It is advertised on the website and the day of issuance is listed there.
