Sunday Stamps II 119

Hello and welcome to Sunday Stamps!
This week's theme on SeeitonaPostcard is flying.
In looking over my old blog posts, I pulled up this stamp:

A stamp from China, showing a modern airport, and yes, a small plane flying over it.  Love the flowers and palm trees in the foreground!  This stamp is from the time I was active in Postcrossing - I am not active anymore.

Visit SeeitonaPostcard and see who else is joining in today!

I have a page on Facebook: "Like" me and keep up with my infrequent  stamp, postcard, and quilt posts at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Viridian61/347674418583948?ref=hl

They have made an airport look idyllic!

Lovely stamp. I was caught by the plane being level - seems to be neither leaving nor arriving. I wonder if that was intentional on the part of the designer?

I just commented on Maria's blog that I would like to see more airports on stamps :)

Somehow I don't associate China with palm trees. Am I wrong,

Like Bob somehow I also don't associate China with palm trees ... Although Sanya, one place I visited has lots of palm trees. I wonder which airport is on this stamp ... I've only been to two, Guangzhou and Sanya.

Looks the perfect vantage point for the plane spotter.
