Sunday Stamps # 163
Hello hello! Another cool week in the Midwest USA, still with very little in the way of green. Still biding our time on Spring. But it must be soon because March Madness is here: NCAA college basketball finals!
Thank you for the turnout last week, and the variety of stamps shared! Several with red pillar boxes too!
The theme this week is farms and farm animals, which I hope will inspire contributors to interpret this widely. I don't think we have had this theme before. What brought this theme to mind is a stamp I received recently from a Postcrosser:
And well, they may be work horses, but they could be on a farm, am I right? Sure I am. Please join me with farm stamps, interpreted widely.
Theme next week: buses and public transportation.
Theme week after that: anything you wish.
I have a page on Facebook: keep up with my infrequent quilt and stamp posts at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Viridian61/347674418583948?ref=hl.
I have another blog at http://viridian61.blogspot.com/ and I will be doing the A to Z blogging challenge this April. I did it last year, inspired by Bob Scotney, and yes I'll try it again.

This is from a very nice series recently issued.
I have received some of these series, and I have scheduled a post with them. But today I chose to show cows.
Magnificent horses and doubly delightful because the set included two international postage rates stamps so I imagine UK postcrossers have been stocking up on those.
I saw the Workhorse series in the newspaper but haven't seen one yet. Hopefully they are all as good as the one you've shown.
These look like they are hard at work.
I love this series of stamps and I do have them all but Ii never even entered my head to use it today. I went for other animals instead, including a cow or two.
Just now getting around to leaving a comment. I had some fun with the theme this week. Went to the flea market Sun. am. and found another couple to add to my original post.
Check them out if you get a chance.
Well you said widely interpreted. Thank goodness!
It's a beautiful horse stamp. I like those strong working horses.
My belated contribution to this Sunday's theme is here (sorry for being that late!):
