Sunday Stamps # 133

It's the hot and quiet days of August, when many people go on vacation. Let's see who shows up for Sunday Stamps this week.

Our theme this week is really colorful stamps.

Sadly the scan above does not truly catch the bright red with the yellow in the foreground, and the red-orange of the building against the green and blue!  But together these two stamps from Japan are very colorful, I think.  What do you have to share?  Feel free to join me with a colorful stamp of your choice.

Theme next week: Mini-sheets (or a whole sheet of stamps if you wish).

I agree with you, the colours are lovely. I particularly like the one on the right though I can't make out what it shows - a procession perhaps?

Interesting how the stamp shows a crowd scene, a colourful ceremony.

It's quite hard to choose which ones to feature for this theme.

I'm glad I was able to make my mind in the end ;-)

For the stamps you posted, I have few of the one on the left with the cherry blossom and the bee. The one on the right, it's my first time to see it.
