Sunday Stamps #70

Theme this week: It is Mother's Day in the USA, and in other areas of the world. Let's share stamps of mothers and children; just children; just mothers (and Women's rights); children's art, even stamps that say LOVE.
I promised a heart-shaped stamp and here it is:

This postcrosser from Turkey kept the paper around the stamp intact.  I can't resist, I must also share the other stamps on the postcard:

You can't really tell, but these stamps are large.  They are at least 2 and a half inches wide.  They show some ships in a museum, but I can't tell much more than that.  There was barely enough room on the postcard for my address and a short message!

Theme next week: Share only stamps that have arrived in your mailbox since May 10.  I'd like to see a cross section of everyday stamps - even if it's just USA Liberty Bell forever stamps, machine printed stamps, and UK Machins.

I like the way the heart stamp can also be used intact as a square.

No mother's day stamps I'm afraid, but I have used the extened theme of women's rights. Happy Sunday Stamps.

At first glance I thought the ship stamps were the same, must have been the glistening gold of the ships dazzling me, there is so much detail on the stamps, they must look quite spectacular full size.

I'm surprised there was any room left for the address at all! Beautiful.

I'm going to have to shift my week's stamps back because we're about to go away and I stopped all incoming postcards a while ago - and they're the most likely source of stamps.

That's OK to use a stamp from prior to May 10.
