Sunday Stamps: the letter "C"

Good day, and welcome to my blog!  It is warming up in the American Midwest.

It's Sunday morning, and time for Sunday Stamps.

We are on to the letter C.  Checking out the trusty US Postal Service website, I found this stamp commemorating Colorado statehood:

showing some of the mountains Colorado is known for.  But keep in mind eastern Colorado is vast flat plains.

In searching through stamps shared before on this blog, I found a stamp from the Cayman Islands:

Next week: the letter "D".

Sunday Stamps: the letter "B"

Good day, and welcome to my blog.  The snow is not melting in the American Midwest, as it's been pretty cold.  It is a cloudy but bright day, and it's time for Sunday Stamps.

We are up to the letter "B".  I checked out the US Postal Service website, and wouldn't you know, they have a new issue:  Bruce Lee stamps:

This image is from the USPS website.  More information is HERE.

These stamps will be available on Feb. 18, 2026.

Another stamp that fits for today is one of Barbara Bush:

Sunday Stamps; Around the alphabet again: "A"

Good day, and welcome to a cold morning in the American Midwest, although it was 6 degrees F this AM, rather than -6 degrees F so I guess that is an improvement.

It's time for Sunday Stamps.  I will not have a theme for this tour of the alphabet, unlike some contributors.  I will probably draw my stamps from the webpage of the US Postal Service or go through my stamps box again.

For the Letter A:

Some very nice Apples on a stamp to make up postage.
