Sunday Stamps: Composer Allen Toussaint

Good day, and welcome to a cloudy day in the American Midwest.  It's about 33 degrees F.

It's Sunday, and time for Sunday Stamps.  I have a great stamp today for the theme of authors, poets, composers.  It's a new stamp, to be issued on Jan. 30 this year.  This image is from the USPS.

Allen Toussaint is associated with the rhythm and blues scene in New Orleans.  He was a singer, songwriter, composer, arranger and producer.  His Wikipedia page is HERE.

Sunday Stamps: Birds

Good Day, and welcome to a cold cloudy day in the American Midwest.  Tonight it will get down to -1 degrees F and be very cold for 2 days.

It's time for Sunday Stamps.  The prompt this week is birds.  I have a stamp issued as part of a set in 2024 by the US Postal Service:

I don't have this in hand; the image is from the USPS.  This is a female ruby throated hummingbird.  Ah, Summer days!
