Good day, and welcome to my blog!
It is a gray cool day in the American Midwest, and time for Sunday Stamps.
The theme is Men who might be fathers. I don't think these men were biological fathers, but are considered fathers of the USA:
Two humble 1 cent stamps, affixed to many a postcard in the past. Benjamin Franklin on the left, and George Washington on the right.
Be sure to visit SeeitonaPostcard for more entries.
I have a page on Facebook: keep up with my infrequent quilt and stamp posts at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Viridian61/347674418583948?ref=hl

Humble stamps, big fathers! Gret stamps.
They both have such high foreheads!
1 cent for a postcard, the good old days. I like the contrast of styles.
I think it's receding hairlines!
Franklin and Washington may not have been fathers in the literal sense, but their legacy as founding figures truly earns them the title of fathers of a nation
We both chose USA presidents! :)
