Sunday Stamps: Engraved (or looking like it)

Good day, and welcome to my stamp and postcard blog.

It's a gray day in the American Midwest, but should clear up a bit later.

It's time for Sunday Stamps.  The theme is engraved stamps.  I have some I have shared before, but the actual stamps are buried in a stamp album, deep in a closet.  They look engraved, but I can't check.

A set of stamps ... on stamp collecting!  Newer stamps are printed a different way, and don't have such detail.  They are from some years ago, given the postage rate printed on them.

Be sure to visit SeeitonaPostcard for more entries.

I have a page on Facebook: keep up with my infrequent quilt and stamp posts at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Viridian61/347674418583948?ref=hl

Stamps in stamps collecting would be a great topic for a collection.

Lovely stamps, such fine details. Engraved 1986, how time flies, same year as the 'Great Americans' were issued, they were keeping engravers very busy then.
