Sunday Stamps: Blue

Good Day, and welcome to my blog.  It is a warm cloudy morning in the American Midwest.

It's time for Sunday Stamps, and the theme is blue.

Here is a new stamp, to be issued by the US Postal Service on Aug. 14 of this year:

It will be issued then for the 2026 World Stamp Show in Boston.  I believe that is Paul Revere, riding along.  Note the older style of this stamp.

These two scans are from the USPS website.

Very pretty I think and it fits the theme for today.

I have a page on Facebook: keep up with my infrequent quilt and stamp posts at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Viridian61/347674418583948?ref=hl

  5. That is a nice one. I like that old style. I do think it's Paul Revere too. I wonder why he gets so much attention, he didn't even finish his ride, he was captured!

    1. I think because Longfellow wrote a poem about him!
