Good Day, and welcome to my blog. It is a warm cloudy morning in the American Midwest.
It's time for Sunday Stamps, and the theme is blue.
Here is a new stamp, to be issued by the US Postal Service on Aug. 14 of this year:
It will be issued then for the 2026 World Stamp Show in Boston. I believe that is Paul Revere, riding along. Note the older style of this stamp. These two scans are from the USPS website.
Very pretty I think and it fits the theme for today.

First time I see this one. Yes, I like the vintage style.
ReplyDeleteIt's a nice one!
ReplyDeleteIt will be a shock to see this one on an envelope!
ReplyDeleteThe design is so vintage
ReplyDeleteThat's a beauty and one that will be appreciated by the Boston attendees.
ReplyDeleteIt does have a nice classic look, doesn't it.
ReplyDeleteThat is a nice one. I like that old style. I do think it's Paul Revere too. I wonder why he gets so much attention, he didn't even finish his ride, he was captured!
ReplyDeleteI think because Longfellow wrote a poem about him!
