Good day, and welcome to my blog!
It is a gray cool day in the American Midwest, and time for Sunday Stamps.
The theme is Men who might be fathers. I don't think these men were biological fathers, but are considered fathers of the USA:
Two humble 1 cent stamps, affixed to many a postcard in the past. Benjamin Franklin on the left, and George Washington on the right.
Be sure to visit SeeitonaPostcard for more entries.
I have a page on Facebook: keep up with my infrequent quilt and stamp posts at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Viridian61/347674418583948?ref=hl

Humble stamps, big fathers! Gret stamps.
ReplyDeleteThey both have such high foreheads!
ReplyDeleteI think it's receding hairlines!
Delete1 cent for a postcard, the good old days. I like the contrast of styles.
ReplyDeleteFranklin and Washington may not have been fathers in the literal sense, but their legacy as founding figures truly earns them the title of fathers of a nation
ReplyDeleteWe both chose USA presidents! :)
