Theme this week: the Post, post boxes, postal vans, stamps on stamps, or similar images.
These stamps arrived recently from Russia, and celebrate the Russian postal service. I believe there are even postcards pictured here! Thank you so much to the Russian postcrosser who included both stamps for me. And, good to know that their post boxes are red, in case I ever get to Russia, one of these days.

im really curious to see this week's entries since I havent seen many stamps related to this subject...these Russian ones are lovely! (as usually Russian stamps are :))

ReplyDeleteI thought I'd seen those stamps on one of my cards but I must be imagining it because I certainly can't find them. There are especially good.

I like all the little details on the stamps, a nice pairing.

ReplyDeleteNever mind the stamps I think that Russian postbox has set me a photographic project to see what I can find still in use.
ReplyDeleteIt's coming apparent to me that so many of you are so involved with postcards that you have a steady supply of stamps. It's very interesting to see the variety it brings.
I would like to suggest for future themes, famous landmark, ships,specific animals, like birds or wild animals, government institutions like University,Banks, or other commercial establishments.
