Sunday Stamps II 13

The them this week at See it on a Postcard is time of exploration: Space.  I last shared these stamps in 2011, so maybe some new players in Sunday Stamps haven't seen them.

    That really is a beautiful sheet from the USA.

    The Russian stamp is amazing - very colorful. Is it a large stamp? Hard to tell from the scan, however the details are very clear, many me think it might be a larger size.

    Great sheet from the USA and a fine Russian stamp - but you would expect this from these two space 'rivals.'

    The USSR stamp is wonderful - almost whimsical with the parachute and stars! And I would never get bored looking at your first set.

    The US sheet certainly translates the excitement of space, its a great sheet. The Russian stamp reminds me of those early soviet revolutionary posters
