Today's theme is anything you wish, or perhaps more se-tenant stamps that you would like to share.
Part of a larger sheet that includes many animals and insects. I like the illustrations in this set. I can tell from the denomination that this is from my short-lived period of serious stamp collecting. And USA first class postage rates have doubled exactly since that time.
Share some stamps, and visit other participants!
Theme next week: Summer is here, so share stamps of summer, especially butterflies - one of my favorite subjects.
Viridian
Quite a variety of subjects in that issue. I looked it up and it is called "North American Wildlife"--50 designs on a sheet.
ReplyDeleteI've been trying to photograph red winged blackbird all week without much success. Deer no problem with no antlers. Lovely stamps.
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful sheet! This is a fun way to know the American wildlife :)
ReplyDeletePostcards Crossing
Beautiful stamps! The Royal Mail does wildlife from time to time but never quite so many designs and normally all different denominations.
ReplyDeleteI like the variety of fauna on one sheet, don't think I've seen a lobster on a stamp before. With our issues they seem to only do one variety such as all birds, or all mammals.
ReplyDeleteLovely stamps.
ReplyDeleteI also choose to feature animals today in my stamps. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat stamps. HAve just uploaded mine.
ReplyDeleteI have the official set of 50 maxicards, and I am working on my unofficial maxicards with every stamp of them. Lovely stamps! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Father's Day! :)
